For those not in the know, I'm a big fan of AI. I even go to conventions. I believe it can change our world in powerful and meaningful ways we just can't do alone. It has the possibilities to overcome world-changing problems. I'm not talking about brainstorming new sandwich ideas. I'm talking about everything from overcoming world hunger to interstellar travel, and putting potentially habitable worlds right within our grasp. Sounds like a pipe dream? I'm posting this video not to stoke fear, but to show an extreme of the outcome of poor AI training, for the most part, is programmed really, really well- this is an extreme. Please don't let it scare you away from AI.

I won't leave you high and dry. After the video, I'll give my endorsement to one that's available right now that I actually helped work on the data sets it was trained on for (seriously! :-) ) -Catch that at the end.

It's Elon Musk and xAI's consumer answer to ChatGTP. It's they're version of it.

Hell yeah Super Grok expensive! ChatGTP pro is 20 bucks, Super Grok is 50% more at 30$ a month.

Why Do You Use SuperGrok If It Sucks Upton?

Fair question! Honestly, I didn't know! Normally, I use SuperGrok as a voice chat companion. I'll flip it on to have a chat buddy during mundane tasks. AI can be great companions, and SuperGrok does have great voice chat. This was the first time I've turned to SuperGrok 3.0 for hard data. The testing I do in this video is standard for me if I'm using an AI to collect references, but Grok... he just let me down in ways I wasn't expecting. I had to hit record. For the beauty blog post, I used Grok2 to scan twitter; but this was me using Grok 3; the newest paid version. ROFLMAO

Why I made this Video.

It's kind of like a high-tech PSA. I made it to educate you guys! These guardrails and tests you'll see me using in the post are no-brainers for me because they catch this stuff, so I do them. I wanted to show you mt process I do and why. That way, you don't accidentally fire off an email, make a flyer, or god forbid, do something more critical where you're counting on data from a tool like Super Grok 3. Follow what I do in the video and you, and your reputation will stay protected.

Are There Any AI you Trust?

Yes! And there are extensive reasons why, but that's a story for another blog, For research I recommend Claude from Anthropic AI.

In this video, I show you how this can quickly go bad and potentially make you look uninformed and like an idiot. AI misinformation is alive and well, so please be careful.
