Hey Ya'll-

Upton here, this my flagship tee printed on genuine Bella Canvas. I was driving home after a brutal 16-hour day, wondering why I keep pushing. Honestly I'm so fucking tired trying to get this business off the ground. Most days it feels like shouting into the void. That’s when I came home, started writing, and created this T-shirt. It’s not just a shirt—it’s a reminder for me, and maybe for you too, that the grind never stops.

I work 12-hour shifts in a metal shop, grinding steel and sweating through my clothes before lunch. But when I clock out, the real work begins—building Gay Men’s Field Guide, writing books, and chasing a better life. Not someday. Right now. Because no one’s handing it to us. If you’re reading this, you’re fighting for something too. That’s what this tee is all about.. I don't know why my dream keeps me going, it just does. Maybe you're like me too.

Dreams don’t clock out. They keep you up at night, wake you before the alarm, and demand every ounce of energy you’ve got. But we keep going—because we have to. This tee is for anyone building something real—a business, a community, a life—one long day at a time.

Why I Started Gay Men’s Field Guide

Eight months ago, I launched Gay Men’s Field Guide as a side project to share my love for camping, adventure, and community with gay men like me. It’s grown into a mission—to carve out space for us in the outdoor world where we belong. It’s a dream that eats my weekends and spare energy, but I wouldn’t trade it. It’s mine, and I’m fighting for it.

More Than a Shirt

I made this tee for myself after a soul-crushing day at the shop, when I was too tired to think but still forced myself to write. I needed something to remind me why I’m doing this. That’s where Dreams Don’t Clock Out came from. It’s not just merch—it’s a mantra. Wear it proudly, and keep pushing.

Why We Use Bella Canvas When Possible

I know your average Joe isn't aware, so let me give you a rundown on Bella Canvas. Bella Canvas is Gay Men’s Field Guides’ exclusive in-house shirt provider that I use to print all my designs on. If you buy a shirt from me, it will be Bella Canvas—it's non-negotiable. So you're probably wondering what the hell Bella Canvas is, right? That's fair; let me explain.

Did you ever volunteer or attend an event where you received a free promotional t-shirt? Perhaps you won a t-shirt at a spin wheel that banks often use at Pride events to encourage us to open accounts and win prizes. God, that pisses me off, lol. Imagine the shirt you got—there’s probably one in your closet right now. Remember when you got it and held it? There was something special about it; it felt soft and like it would be a cherished item that you’d return to on Saturday mornings. It was probably a Bella Canvas tee. The t-shirt they made for the 2023 Gay Pride event was also a Bella Canvas tee. It’s still hanging in my closet, just as soft as the day I got it.

They do a lot of great work, ethically source cotton, ensure fair wages, and hire minorities. Check out the deets for yourself.

They're the real deal...
